Last weekend, we celebrated Anthony's 26th birthday! On Friday (his actual birthday) we went wine tasting with Scott and Anna and went to Francesca's for dinner with my parents.
The lucky birthday boy got a new grill and we have been having so much fun using it! This gift couldn't have come at a better time either since the 90 degree weather doesn't make cooking in the kitchen very enjoyable!
Then on Saturday, we had a Derby Day party! Anthony looks forward to the Kentucky Derby all year and this was the first year he had the day off of work! Anna had the living room all set up for betting and Anthony was in heaven. We had a lot of fun, even though Mine That Bird stole the Derby (and our money!). There's always next year!!
To top it off, we went to Del Mar on Sunday for a beach picnic, but I didn't snap any pictures :( we had such a fun time people watching and eating the yummiest sandwiches Del Mar has to offer!
Today, we celebrated Mother's Day! I went to church with my mom in the morning, then Mark treated us to a wonderful champagne brunch at Frankie's. After that, we headed out to Irvine to visit my two Aunts and Grandma and see my precious new cousin. It was probably just the mix of celebrating mothers and holding a tiny little baby, but I caught a little bit of baby fever today. Perhaps its time for a new puppy? :)

Um, i feel you on the baby fever thing. And yes, these feelings are quelled by baby animals too-we need to let you see Atticus stat!
